The Zodiac ARMORFLATE is a fast deployment inflatable structure holding armour material, to provide protection to a static or dynamic vehicle and its crew.
Zodiac inflatable panel system can hold Dyneema armor material, combining high protection level & sailboat light weight. The rigid Dyneema plates are assembled in several overlapping sections that fold when deflating the high pressure support boat panels.
Panels can be used to protect the crew & sensitive materials from water spray, they can accommodate IR or armor protection, NBC or an array of other forms of protection, shielding personnel from horizontal & aerial visual & electronic surveillance.
Zodiac’s Armorflate is now available for the FC 530.

Armorflate features:
- Inflatable support panels: a flexible, low signature, noiseless, ergonomic, light, high resistance fabric support, made of high pressure inflatable panels assembled into a rigid structure.
- Dedicated appendices to secure the panels on the vehicle
- An integrated fast inflation SCUBA system or local compressed air source
- External pockets to hold armour protection plates

The ARMORFLATE can be deflated and folded in a light compact structure and be preinstalled on the marine boat. When activating the SCUBA cylinder, the inflatable structure is deployed in seconds to its operating protective position.
