Exclusive porcelain lettering from YACHTLITE

A noble shimmer provides the ultimate excess in extravagance: porcelain letterings are the current trend in exclusive light design by YACHTLITE.

The successful cooperative production of the “Deutsche Yachten” members Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg and YACHTLITE goes into the second round. In early 2009 three more yachts were fitted with these noble LED letterings, all of them Drettmann yachts: “Tiger Rose”, Look at me” and “Wild Thing”.

And this is certainly no anachronism: the millennia-old tradition of porcelain making is presented entirely up-to-date in highly modern mega yachts. By firing and glazing the material is prepared for use in the harshest of elements and is therefore fully weather-resistant and saltwater-proof. The special LEDs from YACHTLITE create a homogeneous backlighting. Even hand-signed engravings can be illuminated.

Whoever has seen the noble shimmer of the porcelain cover of illuminated letterings with their own eyes, recognises instantly that only genuine porcelain can offer this new sensual quality. The porcelain covers can be delivered in a variety of colours. The light technique is available in all customary LED colours as well as RGB colour-change diodes and individually requested special colours.
