Webasto presents its innovative control unit alongside product highlights in roofing, heating, and cooling systems
Stockdorf/Munich/Düsseldorf. – January 17, 2009 – Webasto is presenting an array of new products at the boot exhibition in Düsseldorf, taking place from January 17 – 25, 2009. The true product highlight will be the newly developed BlueComfort Control Pad, which the company will be presenting in Germany for the first time. The control panel gives boat owners the opportunity to separately control the climate in each individual cabin from one central point. Webasto’s stand will also feature roof systems that can convert marine roofs into panoramic roofs through the installation of an additional glass or acrylic panel. Its heating and cooling solutions will be on board at the boot as well: Webasto hall 11, stand A19.
The BlueComfort ControlPad offers central control of heating and air conditioning systems for boats with several cabins. It features a color touch screen and comprehensive diagnostic functions, providing complete access to all system information. The control panel also offers a number of digital and analog ports for CAN busses or Ethernet connections. It is compatible with all of Webasto’s BlueCool Premium air conditioners. Its IP-compliant, waterproof design (front panel in accordance with IP67; housing in accordance with IP66) and a display screen that can even be read in bright sunlight accommodate operating conditions at sea. The modern control unit only weighs 1.9 kilograms and requires a mere 1-amp, 24-volt power supply.
