On 23th of August 2007 on Timmerman Boat yachts shipyard a company great celebration took place. In the presence of the Owner’s representatives and head persons of the company the launching of the first 33 m built in the framework of Timmerman-33 project was performed. The yacht building contract was signed at the end of 2005. The yacht is built in the framework of the project Timmerman 33 developed by the biggest European independent Dutch design company Ginton Naval Architects. Yachts interiors were designed by Dutch studio Guido de Groot Design specializing in exterior as well as in interior production for unique motor of 15 and 72 m yachts. Based on the popular conception of the first yacht “Pallada” this style vessel can show her best in proper and ergonomic planning. «Raised pilothouse»-type construction (with wheelhouse moved to the separate deck) provides for maximal usage of free space on main deck, besides that additional sun deck will make it possible to sunbathe. Light for boat ice class of the yacht enables the owner to use it in any season and due to warmth saving windows and modern climate-control system Heinen&Hopman the guests will feel comfortable at any overboard temperature from –20 to +45 °Ñ.
Three deck vessel with steel hull and aluminium superstructure was built under the supervision of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and completely complies with MCA requirements.
Timmerman 33 provides for excellent sea-going characteristics as well as reliability and easy maintenance. Two boat diesel engines Caterpillar with power 486 h.p. each which enables the yacht to run with speed 11,5 knots and close to transatlantic range of 2600 nautical miles.
