In the middle of march new 12 meters cabin sailboat boat has performed its first cruise through the Baltic Sea. Tests of speed achievements and the maneuvering skills of the unit started on the waters of the Danziger Bay. Then the boat continued the cruise along the Polish seashore and after final tests in Szczecin – sailed to its destiny: the Netherlands.
TM-1226 IBC construction, provided as work range unit, was driven by double installation of Volvo D6 marine diesel engines with total power of 740 HP. Such powerful drive units as well as the specific properties of the hull construction allowed this heavy unit result with maximum speed of 40,5 knots.
The boat was equipped with set of navigation devices, such as the plotter with the BOAT GPS, boat radar, echo sounder and communication system. Also, to pay attention to comfort of the crew and the passengers, who's intention is to spend long hours on the unit on the open sea, the boat was equipped in sanitary installation (including shower with warm water), two independent sailboat heating systems, cooling storage for food and drinks, audio system. Also, there was separated sleeping area inside the cabin.
Furthermore, the project of the unit provided specially constructed area for location a power aggregation, supplied by independent fuel line.
