STM 5850 CoastGuard Open is intended for multi-purpose use (as a pleasure, pilot, hydrographic, fishing, diving marine boat, etc.)

The boat can be used in coastal waters and in large lakes as far from ports as 10 miles.
The boat is a sailboat catamaran. The two hulls of this catamaran have two-bilged contours, are flat-keeled, with longitudinal steps. The boat dimensions allow its trailer-towing.

This is an open boat with the central control panel for boat and free passage along the boat boards and from board to board.

The vessel has an extensive cockpit about 3.3 meters long. It contains lockers for moorings, anchors suppliers and other sailboat equipment storage, and boat seats for 6 passengers.

Outboard motor(s) can be used on this boat as the main propulsion unit.
