It has been a superb week end for the SIRENA SL16 : this multihull marine dinghy has dominated in the C3 class results during the EUROCAT, one of the most important gathering of cats in Europe with 65 crews in C3 inter-series during the RAID EUROCAT “Voiles et Voiliers”!

The EUROCAT is one of the most important races of the season which exist since 20 years now.


And good news for the excellence of the SIRENA SL16, the number of crews racing in it's class is increasing all the time : During the Raid where all the C3 catamarans wre racing together, the SIRENA SL16 chalks up the 6 first places!!!

About the géneral results of SIRENA SL16, we can congratulate the victory of the two brothers BELLET from Chatelaillon and the presence of the two English teams in the top of the results. An Australian team came to try the SIRENA SL16 on which they are going to race the ISAF Youth navigational world championship this July with 50 other nations: Jason WATERHOUSE and Lisa DARLMASIN, declared that the SIRENA SL16 is :
“a superb change in comparison with their classical 16 feet because the SL16 is easy to handle and very powerful: with the spinnaker, it is reacting immediately”

For people who have not tested a SIRENA SL16 yet , this ISAF preferred catamaran of 16 feet, created in Le Pouliguen by Yves Loday and build and distributed by SIRENA, it is now sailing in all seas of the world. It is already present in more than 20 countries like Indonesia, Italy, China, Hungary, USA....and now in Croatia, Turkey and Dubaï since the beginning of 2008!

The next sailing dates for SIRENA SL16 teams: the CE ALTI Trophy, this weekend from the 8th to the 12th in Quiberon / FRANCE, the ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Denmark in the middle of July, just after the France Youth championship in La Rochelle and then the SL16 world championship at the end of August in La Baule/ FRANCE with the presence of 3 guest stars: Franck Cammas, Esperanza Perez, Bruno Peyron... and others ...
