All DC electric Sidepower thrusters now come standard with the revolutionary and patented Intelligent Power Control (IPC) functions that automatically safeguard against potential consequences from damage to the thrusters that might result from low-voltage or other failures in a ship's system. Make sure when you have a thruster installed, that it has the IPC functions.

Reduced solenoid wear and risk of lock in by continously monitoring the solenoids function and movements.
If a lock-in situation should occur the IPC function will shut down the thruster automatically, without the user having to do anything, taking away the potentially serious consequences of a run-away thruster.
