Sherwood's patented impeller puller system (US Patent # 6,116,855) works by the impeller puller simply threading into the impeller insert and pushing against the shaft, which jacks the impeller out of the housing. This simple and practical idea has been made standard on all larger Sherwood impellers. The 23631 impeller puller (3/4"-16 UNF bolt with handle) can be used on Sherwood part number 17000K, 18000K, 22000K, and 26000K. The 24412 puller (M16 x 1.5 bolt with handle) can be used on Sherwood part number 27000K.
