The revolutionary new Sea Saver MOB recovery system has been designed to remove the need to launch a rescue craft & offers unique capabilities to significantly improve the chance of a safe recovery.

Launched from Restech’s range of PLT maxi & mini pneumatic systems, with extended range capabilities offered by Sea Sam, the Sea Saver is useable in all wind strengths & sea states.

The Sea Saver can be launched beyond the survivor, for a distance of between 30 & 50 metres (or up to 100m in conjunction with Seasam). The operator can then steer it, encircle & retrieve the survivor.

Apart from extended launch range, the Sea Saver has several other enhanced features that significantly improve effectiveness compared to other MOB systems.

It has an automatically inflatable boom, which has multiple harness points to assist survivor ‘self-help’ potential.

It incorporates unique luminescent boom lighting technology, visible from three nautical miles, that assists both the operator & survivor to significantly improve the likelihood of the recovery being fast & efficient – at the first attempt.

Once encircled by the boom, the survivor can be safely drawn back to the rescue point and if required lifted vertically up the ships side or structure.
