Endeavour II, a replica of the 135.5 foot (41.3m) J Class Yacht suppliers, will be launched in the autumn of 2008.
She will be fitted with a Park Avenue sailboat boom that will measure 19.5 m and a 52 m mast built out of High Modulus fibre allowing for optimum weight savings.
As the owner is keen to race the yacht, Rondal’s design team has been working closely with America’s Cup experienced, Carew Design Group and the sail maker to create the lightest possible mast with bending in exactly the right areas to obtain optimal sail shape.
