The Rondal blocks for boats are made from Stainless steel 316 with a high gloss finish. A pattern of slots or round holes reduces the weight and creates a pleasing look.

The new type sheaves will be made of black anodised aluminium sealed with Teflon. The blocks have a side load bearing system on Torlon balls with a stainless steel coverplate. The journal boat bearings carrying the radial loads have proven their worth in for example halyard blocks where high static loads can damage roller or needle bearings. Lubrication is not necessary, the bearings are self lubricating.

Eyeplates and non-tumble deckplates

Eyeplates are available in 5 sizes.
Non- tumble deckplates are manufactured in stainless steel and available in 5 sizes.
Removable screw-out eyeplates and removable screw-out non tumble deckplates are available in four sizes. When not in use, the tops for boats can be removed leaving a clean, flush deck.
