Pershing, one of the world’s leading companies in the open yacht sector, is currently organizing the second edition of its exclusive Sea Show. A unique yachting tour that stops at some of the most spectacular marinas in Europe, and which, this year, stars the shipyard’s latest revolution, the Pershing 64’. The show includes four stopovers offering customers, journalists and the general public the privilege of sea trials before the craft is unveiled at the major boat shows. And like last year the show has been carefully planned to set off the craft in four unquestionably stunning locations, in perfect harmony with the brand’s prestigious, international personality. Beginning in Italy, in Milan, the design and fashion capital of the world, the tour will continue onto Portorose in Slovenia, a classic centre of luxurious entertainment and well-being and then on again to the monumental elegance of St Petersburg in Russia, from where it will sail on to enjoy its last leg in the fun and sunshine of Palma de Mallorca in Spain.

The first leg of the 2008 Pershing Sea Show that opened the event in a particularly unique and stimulating atmosphere, came to an end on April 21. This saw the Pershing 64’ make a picturesque voyage on sea, river and road, from the Adriatic all the way to Milan, where the craft was displayed in an unusual and yet spectacular location in the Navigli canal district. Timed to coincide with the Milan Design Week, the impact of the craft’s original setting and the extraordinary quality of its interior design, combined to make this choice an ideal stage on which to exhibit the superior class of Italian yacht design to a much wider public than the normal yachting audience.
The qualities of this splendid craft, however, do not end with its beautifully crafted interiors and the sleek, streamlined contours of its aggressively modern exterior. This model is also currently revolutionizing its segment by combining the exclusive comfort normally found in flybridge style craft with the sporting character and performance of an open yacht suppliers that reaches speeds of up to 46 knots.

The Pershing 64’ is a highly concentrated essence of technical know-how and construction experience. But it is also the expression of a world of beauty, lifestyle and originality. And this is how the craft will be presented in the forthcoming stages of the spectacular Sea Show, which will soon be stopping in Portorose.
Comfort, luxury and top Pershing performance will be the highlights of the show that will be staged in this beautiful Adriatic resort on May 8 and 9 with a series of exciting events for Pershing’s guests.
After Slovenia, the Pershing 64’ will sail onto St Petersburg, where it will stop over from June 20 to 21. The craft will then head onto Palma de Mallorca where it will celebrate the end of its presentation tour on July 25 and 26.
