Passport Yachts Launch Vista 615TC At 2009 US Sailboat Show
Passport Yachts, builders of semi-custom luxury blue water cruising yachts, will be premiering their new flagship, the Passport Vista 615 at the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis from 8-12 October.
Essentially a centre cockpit layout, it has three individual entertainment areas on deck; the main cockpit, a separate steering cockpit and another leisure seating cockpit aft that also provides space for storing a hard bottom inflatable on deck. The forward cockpit is extremely roomy, with easy access afforded by twin wheels and a hard windscreen for protection. Aft of the leisure cockpit and entering onto the spacious aft deck is a hydraulic drop down transom with fold down stairway and swimming platform.
Clearly set up for blue water cruising, the all hydraulically sail plan features roller furling jib and roller furling reacher.
Designed by Bill Dixon Yacht Designs, the raised deckhouse saloon layout makes full use of the spacious below decks volume with three large cabins; two state rooms and the third a standard double. The exceptional specification includes as standard equipment everything you will need to circumnavigate the world in style and supreme luxury.
Both the Passport Custom series and the new Vista series will be on display this year, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the world's oldest in-water boat show.
