The cover includes an extremely compact and rigid metal ring through which pass the 4 screws that secure the cover against the case body. The modern stainless steel Torx screws resist high torque and are extremely durable even after innumerable screw/unscrew cycles.

The purge cover underneath the metal front panel functions as a purge button to manually start the air flow.
A metal SCUBAPRO “S” logo enriches the center of the button, visually recalling the chrome finish of the external surfaces of A700.

The purge cover is, in turn, held by a ring that is part of the locking system and that serves as a guide for the diaphragm so that it remains perfectly seated and perfectly waterproof at all times.

We are pleased to inform you that your product “SEAWAX FOULING RELEASE” has been nominated by the jury for the DAME Award 2009

While not a breaking off innovation, this new generation of fouling release in aqueous phase treatment is one of the top last antifouling paintings.

It can be used on all sea boats or river boats.
Its main benefit is its innocuousness. It is a biocide-free and toxic solvent-free, therefore not hazardous for the aquatic environment and the human health.

The objective is to repel sea life without killing it.

«Seawax Fouling Release® » is mostly recommended for using on boat hulls : weight and water resistance, hydrodynamic trail are therefore reduced. Full consumption is also reduced and the hull requires less cleaning.

Its ingredients prevent and/or delay the fixation of microorganisms such as algaes, shells or shellfish and/or make it very unstable.

It brings its contribution to the preservation of sea life.
Also, there is a « self cleaning » effect when the boat sails, a water pressure is applied to the hull, all organisms then come off the substrate.

«Seawax Fouling Release® » is an alternative solution compared to actual paints, also innovative with obvious benefits for applicators.

Its technical features offer very easy to apply conditions and short drying time.

No1 Rig - CST-470-1 mast carries a straight section to the hounds and the short tip joins into the base section. This rig offers a fairly stiff configuration and has been used by many teams over the past few years. The CST-470-2 mast is a more progressive rig developed from the International 14, it joins at the lower spreader. This mast was used by Emmet Lazich to win the 2007 Interdominion championship.

No2 Rig - The CST-471 mast is a similar style to the CST-470-1 in that it joins at the hounds giving a relatively stiff rig with a flexible tip. This mast is currently the only option for No2 rig and has been used successfully for several years by top Australian teams.

The 2010 Ka Kaos delivers exactly what every wave sailor craves. There is ample power to punch through the whitewater and drive through bottom turns, while neutral on the wave face and light in the hands through transitions.

Forward draft placement locks the power in and the dacron luff panels gives the foil the flex to switch the power off when not required.

Full Xply construction with loads of aramid in the high stress areas ensure this sail can weather the harshest conditions.
For 2010 abrasion resistance has been taken to a new level.

Features include a new thermoformed mast pad, PVC mouldings on the batten pockets and on the foot and lower seams.

The intelligent placement of high tech materials has also allowed some weight reduction without compromising strength.

Sizes for 2010 are 3.7, 4.2, 4.7, 5.3, 5.7

THE PHYSICS & CALCULATIONS OF THE POWERSKIJETBOARD OF THE G-FORCE TURN

These calculations were made on a previous prototype using a 25 hp. engine.
Since the Igniter 330™ production model has approximately 45 hp., the physics of a G-Force turn are much more extreme which translates to more power through your turns.

THRUST AND SPEED
In order to achieve high-speed performance, the water jet pump in the current Powerski Jetboard™ must deliver enough thrust to quickly accelerate the jetboard to maintain its speed, preferably from 15 mph to, in excess, of 40 mph.

To overcome both the water's drag on the craft, and the air resistance of the combined rider and jetboard, both resistances, being proportional to the square of the speed, and the required thrust for achieving this range of speed, were calculated to be in the range of 130 to 330 lbs.

In tests of the jetboard, a speed of 32-35 mph was measured on flat water at a measured pump thrust of 240-265 lbs.

WEIGHT AND ENGINE POWER
The engine, as the primary power source, must have sufficient power to propel the weight, or mass of the craft and rider to the desired speed range of 15 mph to over 40 mph.

The required engine-delivered power depends on the energy consumed per second to move the combined mass of the rider and craft through the water at the desired speed.

This power is calculated from 1/2 the mass times the square of the speed, divided by the efficiency of the jet drive pump system.

For the desired range of speeds, and applicable range of rider plus jetboard with a combined weight between 250 lbs. minimum to about 400 lbs. maximum, engine power of at least 14 hp. to more than 55 hp. are required.

One attribute of the PowerSki Jetboard™, is that a jetboard and rider weighing a total of 350 pounds, can achieve a constant measured speed of 32-35 mph with an engine rated at 25 hp. output.

This relatively high weight requires high-powered engines that are 30-50% of the total weight of the craft.

That much engine weight requires precise placement within the hull in order to allow a rear-mounted rider to pivot the jetboard during turns without the use of a steering mechanism.

African Cats will launch the first fossil free sailing catamaran with electric retractable propulsion /generation system by November in Durban South Africa.

This luxury comfortable performance cruising catamaran is a result of many developments of which the driving system Green Motion is the most important one.

The dual Green Motion set up consists of:
•	Electric retractable outboard motogens* (2 x 9.6 KW) with over boost to 13 KW
•	1 x 144 to 24 volts 30 amps converter
•	10 amps shore charger 230 ac -144 dc
•	LCD screen for amperage, volts, rpm and temperature
•	12 x 150 amp 12.8 volt AGM batteries (Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries optional).
•	40 litre dual coil 220 ac water heater
•	Extra pre heat hot water heater
•	Dual control head (Glendinning)
•	Plug and play wiring
•	Hydraulic actuators (2)
•	Electric hydraulic oil pump
•	Manual emergency oil pump
•	Oil Filter
•	LED indicators for up and down position
•	Switches up and down
•	2 waterproof Contacts with switches and keys (2)
•	Electric hydraulic steering valves
•	4 bladed high efficient propellers (2)
•	Basalt Fibre wing strud's (2)
•	Hydraulic piping
•	Shaft anodes

The resistance while sailing is less with the motogens* retracted. The sailing speed increases because no sail drives, propellers, props shafts or shaft supports are in the flow of the water and the result is less use of the motogens* and reduction of energy consumption.

The motogens*1 are located closer to the centre of gravity making the yacht safer and more comfortable.

Folding or feathering props are not needed since they are lifted from the water when not in use. No fouling of props and they are reachable in up position for cleaning or removing a rope or bag.

Cooking is done electric to make the yacht complete fossil fuel free.*2

A Floating MOBIDEEP World

Here's a new idea that's just come on the market - a floating swimming pool!

1st Award of Innovation On The Public Equipments Exhibition In PARIS, FRANCE.

Called Mobideep, it takes just one day for the pool to be installed in still waters such as lakes, reservoirs and ponds - useful for scuba training and swimming lessons among other applications. Pools can also be linked together with interconnecting tunnels. With their own floating decks, the portable pools also offer optional hydro spa and power showers.

The pool's octagonal configuration measures 8.4 meters along the sides, and has an adjustable bottom - with depths ranging from zero down to seven meters - handy when you have small children.

Mobideep pools have an easy-to-construct modular design, complete with integrated filtration system. Filled by taking in the surrounding water through the filtration system, the pool encloses crystal-clear water that's free from contaminants. The filling process takes a day to complete, and the best thing about this system is that it's extremely economical- no hefty water bills!

Already distributed in Europe, China, Russia, Thailand, Philippines... worldwide Patented product , we are looking for exclusive importer for the rest of the world.

Tides Marine is pleased to announce the development of an overheat temperature warning system to work in conjunction with their Lloyds Register certified propeller shaft seals running on commercial and pleasure craft with single or twin engine installations.

Working in conjunction with temperature measurement specialists, Pros by Ditel, the system has been designed to monitor seal head temperature using a solid state sensor, electronic control module and a remote alarm panel or warning siren.

Any increase in the normal operating temperature range of the shaft seal installation triggers an audible and visual alarm allowing maintenance to be carried out before damage to the seal head results.

Suitable for the new build and retro-fit market, the control module accepts a 12v or 24v DC power supply and has a self diagnostic facility on power-up to ensure that the system is functioning correctly.

Marex wanted to develop a boat around 37feet,forfamily holidays, and the general idea, has been to make a boat where it is easy to move around with enough space for a large family who wants two separate cabins and an extra bed.

The size and beam should make it easy to berth the boat in northern Europe.

Traditionally it has not been easy, to make an aft cabin boat look elegant, and a lot of work has been made to make this boat look good. It has been important to make a boat that will keep its design for many years and keep a high second hand value in the years to come, as most Marex boats. We have therefore looked for timeless classical lines to include an aft cabin.

The boat is driven by a single engine with a straight shaft, targeting a cruising speed of 25 knots. We wanted to substantially reduce diesel consumption, for this size of a boat and the most effective is to have a single engine. Only recently the engines has been suitable for this kind of speed. This will also result in a lower purchasing price for the boat and lower CO2 emission.

Diesel will not be cheaper in the future. It is a strong trend in the world to reduce the consumption and in our opinion a cruising speed of 25 knots is fully acceptable for most families and a comfortable speed for holiday use, for a boat this size. Still the boat can reach 28-30 knots. The majority of our customers tell us they are not sailing any faster, even if they can.

Marex has been allowed to use the Seatorque shaft system, a system only used on larger yachts today. Seatorque has won many prices and awards among the prestigious “Dame Award” in Mets. In short the axel moves in a protecting tube all the way to the propeller. This reduces cavitations, therefore the water is undisturbed, and the propeller gets more food.

This system reduces the consumption alone by 8%. Furthermore is the torque i.e. the push from the propeller, not to the engine but to the hull itself. You can install soft engine feet which will substantially reduce vibrations and sound. The Marex runs with little vibrations and low sound emissions in comparison to other shaft driven boats.

Marex has made it easy to move around in the 37 foot boat due to the lowered side decks and the passage to bathing platform in comparison to other aft cabin boats. We have tried to give the boat a ship look by this lowered side-deck and also by giving the bow a slight “flair” or”clipper-bow”

In the very roomy aft cabin that provides standing height you will find a single and a double bed. The aft cabin has a panoramic view through the window that goes all around the aft. In addition it has a small washbasin and a small sitting group with a table. The front cabin has a double bed and in addition a single bed is placed amidships.

This room serves perfectly as a storage room when not in use. The separate toilet and separate shower is placed in the middle part. What serves as the master cabin is up to the owner to decide. All rooms have generous light through the large side windows.

The pantry is placed up in the cockpit. The majority of our customer does not appreciate cooking under deck. We have emphasized a large 130 l fridge and a 35 liter freezer and an oven as standard equipment as well as plenty of drawers and cabinets for keeping kitchen equipment.

The Marex 370 ACC cockpit provides a large sitting group for up to nine-ten people. A part of the sitting group also serves a co-pilot seat for two, an important detail for the passengers. By the large dinner table the smart bar chairs is never seen on boats before but very practical especially for the chef.

Marex wanted an uncomplicated dashboard without too many instruments but space for a large plotter and for paper charts to be in reach. It was important also to reduce sunlight reflexes by using new colors and new topcoats.

The boat gives you two large sun beds for 4 people one front and one aft. On the bathing platform the Marex has made a smart sitting bench with storage and easy access to fenders and ropes. It is perfect for sitting and the bathing platform has parallels to a small terrace on the sea.

The canopy system is simple and is based on a “baby wagon principle”. The fabric is hidden in a well around the aft of the aft sun-bed.

Marex 370 ACC is the first aft-cabin boat in GRP in the European marked for ten years. It is unique in its design and segment and combines modern lines with the comfort of classical holiday boats.

The RAM telescopic container spreader, designed for mobile harbour cranes, uses weight-saving features for maximum crane lifting capacity.

The double beam design provides a robust yet low tare weight unit offering maximum crane lifting capacity, and with less inertia when rotating unladen.
Six hydraulically operated flippers ensure fast and accurate container location.

The design uses a post spreader/crane connection to provide a centre of gravity adjustment system for safer, faster handling. The post pivots left or right of centre for gravity point adjustment and is powered by two hydraulic cylinders.

A pin connection at the top of the post provides a fitting location for the mobile harbour crane rotator and ramshorn hook.

A hydraulic reservoir is integral into the post, which ensures ideal weight distribution.

RAM Spreaders' innovative use of a post connection makes it easier to transport, assemble and commission the spreader on site, as the post can be stored horizontally during transport.

RAM Spreaders' 2730 model joins the existing design of standard single and four beam spreaders already offered by the company.

This year, you will have a double chance to visit Alliaura Marine at Paris Boat Show in Hall 1.

On the Multihulls side, you will have the opportunity to discover the model of the Privilege 1000 ! Giant luxurious catamaran of 100ft long (30m), 46ft beam (14m) and 137ft high (42m).

On the monohull side, the Feeling 44 will surprise you. Since Alliaura Marine works with an integrated designers team, named EXALTO, company from the same Group as the shipyard, Alliaura Marine presents new trends.
The Feeling 44 in Paris is designed in a contemporary atmosphere, keeping the French expertise, skills and lifestyle.
With her exceptional light interior, the Feeling 44 has been imagined with black microfiber linings, padded leather seats, teak floor and cabins with carpet.
The decoration is also in the details like lights, faucets or the leather-wrapped guidelines. The best is to not tell more in order to let you discover this new style...

Alliaura Marine will reveal also in the same occasion the model of its new Feeling, the Feeling 48.
In the same mind of the Feeling 52, the Feeling 48 will be launched in 2010.
She will be the link between the Feeling 44 and the Feeling 52. She is keeping the same line as the Feeling 44 especially with a similar roof with the "doe eye" shape. And she will keep the concept of the Feeling 52 and 55, especially through the life on board with a large cockpit and a protected helm station between the cockpit and the saloon.
Like in the Feeling 52, the owner cabin keeps the exceptional view on the sea.
And as all the Feeling, the Feeling 48 is proposed in lifting keel or fin keel.

The original two blade Max-Prop was designed in the early 70's for the high tech racing boats. Since proving itself in the racing arena, the two blade classic Max-Prop has earned its way into the mainstream market as a leader of low drag propellers.

Today you'll find the two classic blade Max-Prop equipped on a wide range of vessels.

The new model offers a new further hydrodynamic of the profile in the feather position and precision in the determination of the pitch, further more we have to underline that contrary to other to other type of propellers the Max-Prop's dose not open the blades for centrifugal force, therefore has not need of strong accellerations and sharp shocks.

While satisfying the racer with low drag, it's efficencyunder power in both forward and reverse is sure to please all.

Available diameter from 11" to 44" and for shafts from 19 mm to 65 mm to suit any type of marine sailing vessel.

The BufferStationTM machine is a new product of PACECO® Corp. that improves quayside operations by raising productivity, increasing safety and security, and managing inventory.

Computer simulations have established that the BufferStation machine will theoretically boost productivity by 50% by separating the ship operation and yard operation.

The BufferStation machine resides below the portal beams of a quay crane, straddling the truck lanes (see Figure below). Any typical 100 ft (30.5 m) gauge Post-Panamax quay crane can accomodate the BufferStation machine.

The BufferStation machine is a standalone device that can be installed with minimal modifications to existing facilities, therefore there are no lengthly or costly integration procedures.

In a standard unloading operation, the quay crane moves a container from the ship and deposits it on the BufferStation machine's platform.

Here, the container is considered "in buffer," so other operations can be performed, such as IBC (inter-box connector) service.

The BufferStation machine then uses a straddle hoist to move the container from it's platform to trucks at the wharf surface.

Easy to setup, easy to operate, and easy to maintain with Magnum Venus Plastech's renowned durability.

Fewer parts, stainless steel where you need it, and a rugged design combine to make this system the operator's choice.

With a heavy duty stainless steel catalyst pump, this machine allows the operator to adjust the preferred setting with ease -- infinite catalyst percentage settings available with a simple adjustment.

The Patriot™ Multi-Color Gelcoat System allows the operator to feed a multitude of fluid sections, up to 6 colors standard and the ability to add additional colors as needed.

Precision and accuracy are the keys to success and the Patriot™ Gelcoat Systems offer a positive displacement pump design that delivers highly accurate ratio control of ±0.1%.

This precision is the tool used to correct many of the quality issues, such as porosity, pre-release, post curing, cracking, alligatoring, inconsistent thickness and more that currently face composites manufacturers.

Both the Fluid Section and Catalyst Pump on Patriot™ feature the new “self-healing” seal that has the lowest coefficients of friction available today. This seal does not require packing adjustments, and greatly reduces the problems associated with heat buildup and wear.

Patriot™ Systems are built with modular components to create the optimum configuration for your needs, and keeps you running. Utilizing quick-change components extends the system life and allows for little or no down time. The major components change out in 10 minutes or less.

When the United States Coast Guard (USCG) needed heavy-duty docks that could perform in harsh marine conditions, the organization turned to SF Marina. Since then, SF Marina and its partners have installed numerous advanced Concrete Docks along the East Coast for USCG, including stations in Southwest Harbor, Maine; Bristol, Rhode Island; Long Island, New York and Burlington, Vermont on Lake Champlain.

Built for the Northeast's severe weather and winter climate, SF Marina's floating SF 1230 Concrete Docks are single cast and designed to handle the most aggressive seas. Enduring extreme wind, tides and constant waves up to 1.5m high in Maine, a versatile, single-cast 24m dock berths a 20m tug/ice breaker, while a resilient 28m dock offers internal utilities for lighting, shore power and water and moors multiple USCG vessels. Engineered to withstand ice-stress, they have a service life of 30-50 years and require very little maintenance.

Continuous Ship Engine Emissions Monitoring
The impact of air pollution from your ships is now under constant scrutiny from the world's media. The marine industry has to act now in order to catch up with what other industries have been doing for years.

At the same time, the new MARPOL legislation restricts you from operating your engines in the most efficient way possible, so you burn more fuel. You have more emission reduction regulations coming soon from the IMO, the introduction of new worldwide ECAs (emission control areas) and geographic zones where you will be taxed on your emissions. Then you're faced with the prospect of monitoring carbon dioxide when emissions trading is inevitably introduced.

You need to be prepared for these regulations; you need to be in control of how you report your emissions data; you need to be free to run your ships exactly as you wish. You need to invest in MariNOx™.
