Two New Breathable Technologies From MUSTO

- the brand which started the revolution

FACT: Nobody knows more about breathables afloat than Musto

FACT: While the sharp end of performance sailing continues to seek ever higher standards of performance, 90% of cruising – and many racing – sailors are happy to choose their weather and proceed at a comfortable 6-7 knots.

RESULT: Musto went to the technical fabric industry and came back with two new breathable fabrics which will completely satisfy the market’s needs – and at prices which are hard to resist.

New from Musto: BR2 and BR1

The styling of the new BR2 and BR1 ranges prove that the discerning customer still gets the colours, the design details and the high quality construction and finish which always distinguish the Musto brand.

BR2 is simply the best protection one can buy in a non-GORE-TEX® range of foul weather clothing. It is a 2-layer, microporous membrane fabric, developed exclusively for Musto.

Waterproof? Of course. Breathability? Higher than any other products of similar price. PLUS outstanding durability – so often the shortcoming of some ‘budget’ breathables.

In Musto’s BR2 range, you will find no shortfall in features, making it wholly appropriate for all sailing and powerboating up to ‘offshore’ level.

BR1

This is a highly effective and versatile range providing the benefits of a lightweight fabric with a fully effective hydrophilic coating which ensures the degree of breathability suitable for more relaxed times on the water, when there’s little threat of severe conditions over a prolonged period.

The BR1 range extends from the Channel Jacket (ideal for coastal sailing) through to the Inshore Jacket and Inshore Race Marine jackets in both unisex and women’s colourways and sizes.
