Press release from Menorquin - 2008-09-04

The new boat will be on sale from September

The Menorquin shipyard stands out in the runabout market with the launch of Largo, a new product range with the objective of uniting emotions, technology and performance. This new boat which will be on sale from September is to be presented at the Cannes Boat show. This product line is based on the classic runabouts, whilst maintaining the quality and performance characteristic to Menorquin.
Menorquin’s new design project has been inaugurated with the first model the Largo 100GT. As well as the sports design which makes it especially suited for day trips it also incorporates great habitability and elegance, both of which are very characteristic features of the shipyard.
The Largo range couples the technology and exclusivity necessary to create a unique and timeless boat. The shipyard’s pure passion for sailing has been the drive behind the design of this new boat which will compete alongside other classic runabouts. When compared to sports vessels of this sector it will outstand for its practical functionality and great habitability, features that are characteristic of the brand.
“We feel especially satisfied that we have been able to transfer the traditional Menorquin values that Menorquin owners applaud, whilst fulfilling their appreciation of sophisticated style, sporting attributes and high performance in their marine boats”, comments Javier Cancela, Sales & Marketing Director at Menorquin.

As well as presenting the new Largo range, the shipyard will also be exhibiting the following boats at the Cannes Boat Show, Menorquin Yatch 100, MY 120, MY 160 and a scale model of the recently presented Menorquin Custom Yacht 240.
