This spring, MapMedia catalog will grow and be completed. First, by the end of March, the initial mm3D catalog will be available, covering the world. Then, some new products will also appear to satisfy MaxSea Time Zero and Furuno’s NavNet3D user’s needs.
Four news to report:
-Lower prices and flat rate for our raster and vector charts.
-Launching of Vector chart WIDE areas covering a large navigation surface area
-Launching of two world pack (Time Zero Navigator World Folio and Time Zero Explorer World Folio).
-Launching of high definition picture areas (West Mediterranean for example)
As a complement to the Classic chart areas, Vector chart WIDE areas (only vector) will turn out to come up to navigator´s expectations. They will enable the acquisition of all the charts of a large navigation surface area, they will be supplied with 3D information (standard resolution satellite pictures will be available by download).
The new world packs will be marketed with the Time Zero software included. They will be available only with vector cartography and the standard resolution pictures will be available by download.
Circumnavigators could purchase a world-wide cartography and the Time Zero software (Navigator or Explorer version)…Definitely the best quality-price ratio on the market.
MapMedia will be in a position to share out high resolution satellite pictures for a part of north coast Mediterranean Sea as well as Norway. The high definition area, they will offer a picture quality similar to the Atlantic coasts and French Manche, and will make the MaxSea Time Zero realism optimal. In order to realize this advance, MaMedia negotiated with the local agencies (CNIG, IGN…). Other agreements (talks in progress), will complete the high definition pictures offer during 2009.
