SC Tomis began the installation of Martini Marinas floating pontoons at Port Tomis, the pleasure harbour in Constanta, Romenia.
Functionality, modularity, launch, assembling and boat mooring simplicity, Similteck decking, ecological and maintenance free material, these are some of the strong points of the selected Martini Marinas pontoons.
The new marina can take a fleet of 420 boats supplier, and will be the most important pleasure harbour in Romenia.
The marina is already operative, 4 of 7 total floating piers have been installed having different characteristics and performances depending on the fleet.
All piers are connected to the quay by self-bearing marine gangway having the same width of the pontoon. The result is a continuous communication between the water and the quay, no steps along the dunnage, perfect to carry heavy materials on cart up to the boat.
The pontoons are equipped with all services and security is assured by the gates fitted with electronic keys supplied by the marina to the registered users.
Works are in progress, the installation of further 3 floating pontoons and the marina completion is foreseen on October 2009.
