A major offshore support services company based in Qatar has placed an order for 46 Lifeforce® defibrillators for placement on their vessels for the treatment of any crew members who are struck down by sudden cardiac arrest. The only proven way to treat SCA is by delivering an electric shock to the heart using a defibrillator to restore a normal heart rhythm.
