A constant problem on-board is lack of space and in the past this has often led to the installation of air conditioning units that werent adequate to the task demanded of them. This is where Marine Airs VCD27 Vector Compact Self-contained Air Conditioners can offer an easy-to-fit, ultra-quiet solution.
These high-capacity units were engineered to harness and maximize the impressive performance of environmentally safe R-410A refrigerant. Used in the HVAC industry for more than 10 years, R-410A refrigerant is proven and reliable, and complies with all EPA standards and is accepted worldwide.
All models offer direct expansion operation in a compact, low-profile unit, with a seawater-cooled condenser and choice of controls. They are reverse-cycle systems, so they can provide either cooling or heating, as needed.
Vector Compact units are designed for installation under a settee or berth, in a locker or cabinet, or other convenient location. Vector Compact systems feature high-velocity (HV) blowers. All blowers are insulated to prevent secondary condensation, and are fully rotatable during installation to achieve the optimal angle for air discharge.
