The 2008 Mega X line was completely redesigned and it combines all the modern design features. The result is a demanding and professional speed machine for all engaged speed, slalom and race sailors. A new and slimmer mast sleeve profile, out of innovative “Lektra”; a light for boat, stable and semi-transparent foil material. With the use of this special material, it was possible to significantly reduce the sail weight.

A further plus is the reduced sailboat boom length for compact handling. Four cams and 7/5 or 8/5 batten configuration in the cross batten concept ensure maximum control. Easy rigging is achieved with reduced luff tension and zipper openings at the cams. The Mega XS line is designed for speed and slalom disciplines, the Mega XR line will marine suit formula/race sailors.
