A GEHULL® centreboards concept, combining high tech manufacture with pure sensation.
The Benji® are easy and efficient. The raceboard concept gives our sports boats a level of performance and accessibility never seen in their class.
Design no nose
The No nose concept consists in placing a maximum of volume at the rear end. These shapes seem predestined to bring the boat on the plane
In rear wind situations, thanks to the low wetted surface, the shape is able to push accelerations always further.
Close to the wind the boat allows very precise tracking, the daggerboards anti-drift efforts are supported by the streched lines and the use of a cut stem, further limiting turbulances to a minimum.
The variable surface sailplan garanties flexibility.
The multiple sail trim possibility's of the Alain Leroux designed sail make the Benji can stand all type's of weather conditions.
In heavy weather the shape of the sail allows good control, even in the strongest of gusts.
In sailboat light weather the sail's wing profile allows to hang on to the weakest airflow.
Performances and ergonomics.
The ergonomic cockpit design not only brings comfort, it also gives a maximum balance with far less effort, allowing to take full advantage of the possibility's of the boat.
Robust, easy and geared in no time, the marine equipment was defined and dimensioned for an intensive use.
The elastomer TBS anti-slip boat pads on the cockpit floor are easily replaced if worn.
All the deck and sail handling gear is fixed on metal inserts, allowing quick setup and reducing wear of the hull to a minimum.
A broad footstrap makes it possible to control the unit effectively.
The sleeved sail can be rolled with all its battens in place.
The mast in two parts is assembled quickly.
The helmstick and rudderblade are fixed by boat clips.
Sharing the same platform with the Benji 380 ionic S, the benji 380 RR is equiped with a bi-radial RR 9 m² rig and top of the range Harken and Holt sail handling gear.
