The OPEN version of the Emozione 55 completes the range of the variations on the Emozione theme, Franchini Yachts’ line of motor-yachts characterised by clean, timeless lines for speed and marine boats that express a strong, solid and reassuring reference to a sea-going heritage.

Alongside the Emozione 55 Classic and the Emozione 55 Fly, Emozione 55 Open defines its personality. Indeed, once again, this is not merely a stylistic variation of the famous Classic model, but a complete and co-ordinated response to a different level of clientele: those who value, above all else, the feeling of freedom and dynamism that only a true open boat can give.

The layout is in line with this concept of onboard living: in the new Franchini creation, maximum emphasis is given to the already more than generous dimensions of the cockpit, which to all intents and purposes is the boat’s true operational heart. All the essential navigational and onboard-living functions are found here, from the steering compartment, capable of seating two/three people next to the helmsman, to the large lounge table which seats 10, the sofas, sundeck and the small service galley. All this is in such spacious surroundings.

As in the other versions of the Emozione 55, this open- living boat joins directly onto the enormous swimming platform that measures over six square metres and gives direct access to the sea, making it extremely easy to get the tender in and out of the water.

The interiors. Inside we find two extremely comfortable double cabins: the master cabin is located amidships to make the best use of the space in the hull and benefit from direct lighting from the bulwarks and overhead. There is also a large dinette with a three-metre long seat for intimate dining as well as a fully-equipped galley and two bathrooms with a separate stall shower.

And finally, performance: with its 1600 horsepower for a weight of 20,000kg Emozione 55 Open is a further improvement on the performance of her sisters Classic and Fly and allows navigation at a cruising speed of 30 knots under total control in any sea conditions.
