San Diego, CA – 2/19/09 – DeepSea Power & Light (DeepSea) unveiled their new 12 LED On-Hull SeaLite® underwater boat light at the 2009 Miami International Boat Show to an overwhelming response.

Visitors to DeepSea’s booth were amazed by the 12 LED On-Hull SeaLites® tremendous light output and exclusive strobe and dimming features. The interest in the new light was so great, that additional spec sheets had to be brought in twice during the five day boat show just to keep up with demand.

Surface mount underwater boat lights have a reputation for notoriously weak light output and subpar quality. The 12 LED On-Hull SeaLite® was designed in response to customer’s requests for a light that only requires a very small cable hole through the hull, but does not compromise brilliance and reliability. Twelve high brightness LEDs, each with its own specially engineered reflector, ensure maximum light penetration. Pushing the design envelope even further, DeepSea incorporated a built-in strobe and dimming circuit into the compact housing. The strobe circuit allows the 12 LED On-Hull SeaLite® to double as a fish attracting strobe light, while the dimmer adjusts the light output and was put to good use at the show to keep from blinding people in the aisle.
