PALT: Plastic Adjusting Leech Tensioner

The Fish-Tail Leech Tensioner was originally designed as a tensioning system for America’s Boat cup mainsails. Light-weight, sturdy and easy to use, the FTLT is also being used by racing yachts from 40-90ft.

By designing an alternative head-cap the same tensioning components can now be used on larger yachts. The PALT (Plastic Adjusting Leech Tensioner) has grooves which allow lashing to pass either side of the tensioning screw, securing the batten firmly in the pocket.
