New Operator BEEMAR Enters The International Market

BEEMAR is a new marine transportation company serving the needs of the Gulf of Mexico and international markets. The company has aggressive expansion plans, and is currently building a fleet of technologically advanced, environmentally friendly Dynamic Positioning-2 Platform Supply Vessels.

The first two vessels, M/V Busy Bee and M/V Worker Bee, enter service in the Gulf of Mexico in June 2009, with a sister ship being delivered every 60 days thereafter. The company’s immediate fleet goals include five 210’ and three 234’ ABS-classed DP-2 PSVs. Each vessel has high bulk and liquid cargo capacities and is designed for the rugged requirements of offshore marine support missions.

BEEMAR’s senior management team is a group of seasoned marine professionals with years of experience. Each was recruited and handpicked not only for proven competence in their respective disciplines, but more importantly, for their integrity, professionalism and dedication to the marine industry. The result is an action-oriented company with a hands-on management style, and personnel who are responsive to customer needs--a corporate culture with the ability to identify and react quickly and positively to change.

BEEMAR is committed to the safety of its crews and the protection of the environment. To this end, a formalized training program has been established to ensure compliance with the company’s goals. BEEMAR has set its course to provide a safe and dependable level of service that will set new standards for the industry. The fleet will be equally at home supporting deepwater oil drilling and production, deep shelf exploration and production operations, offshore and sub-sea construction, in addition to providing geophysical/seismic, and special well service support.
