Designed and built by the Bergamo-based company's Super Yacht suppliers division, SIPARIO is a water-tight window for the side of the boat that offers the absolutely innovative feature of opening up to let in the sounds and scents of the sea.

Designed for vessels measuring approximately 130 to 200 feet, SIPARIO combines technology, innovation and design, giving the side of the yacht an unmistakable customized touch that is visually stunning. A bearing structure made entirely from a lightweight alloy holds a tempered, shatterproof laminated glass panel for boat, made up of two panes of heat-tempered marine float glass, 15 and 12 mm thick, with a layer of transparent polycarbonate and two layers of polyurethane sandwiched between them. The tempered glass is heat-strengthened, a treatment that makes the pane approximately six times stronger than float glass.

Built in full compliance with regulatory standards, and with scrupulous inspection of every component, SIPARIO has been designed with a focus on user safety and tested according to RINA requirements for unlimited navigation and commercial service, passing the breaking strength tests at a pressure of 2.5 atmospheres.

The tilting mechanism that opens and closes the window is controlled by a hydraulic power pack whose operating pressure is continuously monitored by a manometer. This safe, efficient hydraulic system makes the product very environmentally-friendly, since unlike systems that use oil, it is not flammable or toxic in the event of leaks. The water-based drive is also more efficient than oil, reducing the size of components and consuming less energy to operate at the same level. Low environmental impact is also ensured by the fact that water is completely non-toxic and allows hassle-free disposal.

It also offers considerable savings, since water is less expensive than oil and more easily disposed of.

Total safety is also guaranteed by an accident prevention sensor, which will instantly block movement if an obstacle is detected when closing the window. Moreover, SIPARIO has a spray sensor that detects any splashes that could get the cabin wet and activates the closing mechanism.
