Ageotec extends its Sound Velocity Probes range with the introduction of IMSV, a brand new advanced system for real time velocity measurement of sound propagation in water.
Very rugged, accurate, easy to calibrate cheap and lightweight; based on CTD measurement and conversion with Chen & Millero formula, IMSV is also more affordable and robust than other systems based on direct Sound Velocity Measure.
Ageotec offers both Titanium version for fixed probe used for beamforming on Multibeam echosounders and other acoustics devices, and AISI 316 version for 2000 metres depth profiler.

Direct output through RS 232 485 of sound velocity data or CTD direct measure.
